Position: Yard Operations Manager
Location: Donna, Texas - Rio Grande Valley

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Yard Manager / Security Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our equipment yard and ensure the security of our premises. The Yard Manager / Security Coordinator will be responsible for managing the organization, cleanliness, and flow of equipment in the yard, as well as monitoring and maintaining the security of our property and assets. This is a hands-on position that plays a critical role in equipment tracking, lot presentation, and after-hours security oversight.
Job Responsibilities:
Yard Management:
- Organize and maintain equipment yard for clear inventory visibility and safe access.
- Coordinate equipment staging for pickups, deliveries, demos, and returns.
- Inspect returned rental equipment for damages and document condition.
- Ensure machines are parked in designated areas based on status (for rent, needs inspection, for sale, etc.).
- Work with the service and sales teams to coordinate machine movement and availability.
- Maintain a clean, hazard-free yard environment.
- Assist with loading/unloading equipment using forklifts or yard trucks as needed.
Security Coordination:
- Monitor all entrances, fencing, and lighting to ensure property security.
- Oversee and manage surveillance cameras and other security systems.
- Lock/unlock gates during designated hours; secure all equipment at the end of the day.
- Conduct regular after-hours walk-throughs and spot checks.
- Report and document any suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Serve as the primary point of contact in case of after-hours alarms or incidents.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a yard operations, warehouse, or logistics environment.
- Strong sense of responsibility, situational awareness, and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment, forklifts, and trailers safely.
